We’ve got something new on the Winter activities schedule this year. It’s a 6 week yoga for ‘healthy aging’ course.
Michelle is an experienced, qualified Yoga teacher with a passion for healthy ageing! Her Beginners Course & classes will suit guests who have never done yoga before. It will also suit those who have some experience but appreciate a slower, lighter practice. Michelle has experience offering various options to support different body types & health requirements (for example, if you are unable to get down onto the floor for stretching, etc, a chair is available as an option).
All classes focus on a gentle practice that is accessible to everyone. Classes are specifically designed to assist with issues that affect everyone as we age. Each class incorporates mindful breathing, gentle movements, stretching & guided relaxation – that improve strength, stability & calm…
The Beginners Course is run as a sequence, with each class building upon the previous. Ideally you should attend each class. Course participants will receive printed handouts throughout the course to further assist you with bringing the benefits of yoga & wellness into your daily life. Students completing the full 6 weeks will also receive a personal certificate of completion – plus the confidence to attend other yoga classes or even continue your own practice at home!
Proven Benefits of Regular Yoga Practice:
– Stronger Joints & Muscles
– Better Balance & Joint Stability
– Greater Ease of Movement
– Improved Breathing, Relaxation & Sleep
Prior to the course Michelle will discuss any personal needs/concerns/medical conditions that you feel may affect your practice so you can feel confident in proceeding. You are supported & encouraged to participate at your own pace & level of comfort always.
Beginners Course is $75 for 6weeks (full payment is required prior to commencement).
Casual Classes are $10 / class
**Classes run 70mins. (Michelle will be there 15mins early to chat/discuss any queries)
Classes are Thursday 14th, 21st and 28th July, 4th, 11th and 18th August 2016 from 10-11am
